Warren DRAKE

Personal Statement: 
Served as a Chairman and Secretary for various clubs and organisations. Highly organised and focused on what the school can achieve. Currently assisting the Youth Band of Baldivis as a parent helper and PR Assistant. Currently have 2 children enrolled at the school, one in year 11 and the other in year 8. Would like the opportunity to continue to school’s vision and assist in providing high levels of education to all students by holding all involved to a higher standard.

 

Ali KISWANI

Personal Statement:
As a former Aerospace Program Manager I have a thorough understanding of process improvement through application of project management, 6 sigma and Achieving Competency Excellency tools.

 

Rita LUSTED

Personal Statement:
I am a respected Aboriginal community member and Noongar language teacher who has lived in Baldivis for 29 years. 

 

Steph McDonald

Personal Statement:
I am a passionate supporter of excellence in public education, and of Baldivis Secondary College in particular. I have nine years experience on a School Board and now present training to boards about improving school board effectiveness. As an AVID Staff Developer, I have a deep knowledge of AVID and why it has the power to grow staff and students who aspire to excellence. I would love to use my experience as a school leader and as a mum to support BSC to ensure every young person becomes all that they can be and more.

 

Simon MILLER

Personal Statement:
I have been a proactive board member for 3 years and during this time I have been a professional and knowledgeable participant.

 

Louise REICH

Personal Statement:
I believe in the power of a partnership between parents and school and acknowledge the valuable influence a school board has on school wide decisions. As a parent of the college, I share in BSC’s vision. I have an interest in ensuring my child has access to the best that public education can offer. As a teacher in the local area, I have a sound knowledge of educational practice- including AVID- and would love to assist in the schools continued commitment to high expectations and providing opportunities for success, for all involved.
