Ivan Haeane

I have resided in Baldivis since moving here from New Zealand in 2009 in which my children have all attended local schools including Baldivis secondary college. I am involved with community programs which help youth develop and understand their potential and self worth within their families , community and more importantly to themselves.

I am a executive manager in the power industry and manage a large team of engineers , designers and sales personnel , I have been in this industry for over 25years and involved with our apprentice program in helping youth transition into real life employment. I am available to help Baldivis Secondary College in any way and put forward my own nomination for consideration.

 

Wendy Janes

I live and work Baldivis. I work in a management position, where I manage procurement and finances.  My son, who attends BSC is on the spectrum so I understand the need for other children alike.

 

Darren Luscombe

As an accomplished Senior Hospitality Executive and General Manager with a wealth of experience in Franchising, I possess expertise in short and long-term business planning, strategic business growth and implementation, along with experience in commercial and general management and the enhancement of key relationships.

Over the past seven years, I have been a dedicated member of the BIG4 Holiday Parks team, where I currently hold the position of National Sales Manager, responsible for driving the network’s growth. Prior to this, I played a pivotal role as the Operations Manager WA, at RAC Parks and Resorts, contributing significantly to the development of the holiday brand in Western Australia.

I have honed my diverse skill set through a range of professional development programs, I have completed a Mini MBA in Strategy, Leadership, and Sales at the Australian Institute of Management. Obtained Mental Health First Aid Training from MHFA, earned Internal Auditor accreditation from SAI Global and achieved the Train the Trainer certification. Additionally, my formal qualifications as a Chef enhance my ability to bring a measured and diverse range of skills and experiences to the board.

Currently serving as the President of the BSC Parents and Citizens Association I am working with the school and parents to rally support and strengthen the P&C for the betterment of the students and school. My goal in applying for this position is to leverage my skills and experience to drive positive change and support the growth and development of our students and the wider community.

 

Jessica Smylie

I am a solo parent to two children, one a student at BSC. I am a nursing student, support worker and phlebotomist. I am passionate about understanding young people and meeting them where they are at especially with regards to assisting them in improving their mental health. I am willing to speak up when I don’t think something is right or if I need to add ideas to a particular topic. I’m opinionated but not over the top and I know when to listen. My child is a student leader within the school and thoroughly enjoys it. I have an understanding of the issues confronting LGBTQIA+ youth.

 

Kailie Williams

I have 17 + years of experience in Real Estate marketing, sales, administration and human resources. Have a Department of Education clearance already as I additionally have my Cert IV in Education Support. I have three beautiful children, my eldest has autism, dyslexia and ADHD. I would love to be a parent representative and believe my background provides the key skills required to be a great candidate.
