In Year 8, students build on their foundational experiences in drama and dance with more focused and challenging performance opportunities. They continue to develop their creativity, collaboration and confidence while refining their practical and theoretical skills in each Performing Arts discipline.
Students explore performance styles and techniques in greater depth, working both individually and in groups to create and present original and scripted work. They are encouraged to take creative risks, reflect on their artistic choices, and consider how performance can communicate meaning to an audience. With a strong focus on ensemble work, students learn the importance of rehearsal, stagecraft, and constructive feedback.
It’s an exciting year of growth where students start to discover their unique artistic voice — and we’ll be right there cheering when they shine!
